
BEWARE - GFSC Secretary, Alice Joy, is a phishing SCAM

The Guernsey Commission [GFSC] has become aware of a possible email phishing attempt being sent to firms and individuals in Guernsey.
The emails:-
- Purport to be from the GFSC Secretary, Alice Joy,
- And use the domain “mail-guernseyfsc.com"
Please note:
- The GFSC sends its emails from the domain ending “gfsc.gg.”
If you have received an email from the GFSC and you are unsure of its authenticity.
- Please do not reply or click on any links or attachments.
- Forward any suspect email to phishing@gfsc.gg.
Firms are reminded of:
- The guidance available to them in the GFSC ’s Cyber Rules and Guidance, 2021

- And their staff exercise caution and vigilance by not clicking on or opening unfamiliar links in emails;
- Have appropriate cybersecurity software in place;
- Implement IT systems updates promptly;
- Notify the GFSC if they are subject to a significant cybersecurity incident.
