GFSC Approach to Risk-based Supervision – workshops so you understand the mechanics of the GFSC.

The GFSC will be running three one-hour Approach to Risk-based Supervision – refresher sessions on Tuesday, 8 October.
The voluntary sessions, aimed at anyone interested in learning more about risk-based supervision, will cover:
- The GFSC's approach to risk-based supervision includes what it is and how it works.
- how the GFSC engages with firms, from onsite and thematic visits to returns and notification reviews, and what these may involve; and
- The different supervisory tools the GFSC uses include.
- Third-party reviews,
- Skilled person appointments, and
- Risk mitigation programmes and conditions.
All sessions will be held in person at Les Cotils.
- They will not be recorded.
- However, slides will be published later.

Just so you know, to ensure all firms have an opportunity to attend, booking is limited to three representatives from each firm across the day.
