News From 20th
JFSC “final version” Appendix D2 amended to correct updates originally published on the 15th
Further to the Comsure update on Friday 17th, about the JFSC appendix D2 changes on the 15th, [see below] please note:-
- the JFSC has amended [on the 17th] the x2 final D2 documents,
- There is no update from them to inform you that the composition of country risk data has changed between the 15th and the 17th.
So be careful –
- only use only D2 documents from Friday onwards;
- earlier versions you may have saved are incorrect
Please also note the JFSC has not amended the track changes document.

Fridays 17th news
On 15 March 2023, the JFSC issued a confusing update to its appendix D2
On 15 March 2023, the JFSC amended their appendix D2 country list. As part of this process, the JFSC provided three versions as follows:-
- 1 x Final version D2 pdf [1]. https://www.jerseyfsc.org/media/6493/appendix-d2-pdf.pdf
- 1 x Final version D2 excel [2]. https://www.jerseyfsc.org/media/6490/appendix-d2-excel-sheet.xlsx
- 1 x Track change version D2 pdf [3] https://www.jerseyfsc.org/media/6495/appendix-d2-amendments.pdf
Following an inspection of the x3 documents, there are discrepancies between the:-
- Final version documents [1+2 above] and
- Track change version [3 above]
Comsure is concerned that the final D2s are wrong – and Comsure's explanation is below.
The table below [fig.1] highlights each issue, and a summary is here:-.
- Issues 1 and 2
- Tonga and the Democratic Republic of Congo [Congo] have been on D2 since February 2022.
- However, the JFSC, in their March update, say the inclusion was on 15 March 2023.
- Issues 3, 4 and 5 impact the final D2 pdf and excel.
- The final D2 does not show Saint Maarten, Palestine and Mongolia
- However, the x3 countries have sources listed as active in the track change version
- The active sources indicate that the final D2 list is incorrect
The above findings above are also summarised here in FIG1
