JFSC Supervision monthly update - December 2024

In November, The JFSC published:
- Bitesize feedback: Virtual asset service providers – Travel Rule =
- Bitesize feedback: Fund services business – unregulated funds
- Feedback On Its Fee Consultation
- Industry Survey Response Videos
The JFSC also:
- Continued its thematic assessment visits of trust company businesses.
- Completed its review of the fund sector’s approach to custody and safekeeping obligations.
- Met with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner to discuss trends and additional guidance.
- Hosted a financial crime training programme in collaboration with the Toronto Centre and Jersey Overseas Aid
In December, the JFSC will:
- Continue work on thematic assessment visits.
- Work with regulatory consultants to provide guidance.
- Publish its NPO quarterly newsletter.
