Just as Jersey brings in its Senior Management Function Regime [SMFR] the UK Government start a review on its SM&CR

The UK Government has today announced an SM&CR call for evidence.
Key questions in the consultation include:
1- Whether SM&CR has effectively delivered against its core objectives? (eg. making it easier to hold individuals to account; or improving governance, behaviour and culture within firms)
2- SM&CR's impact on the UK’s international competitiveness
3- Whether there are examples of other regimes that the government could learn from?
4- Whether there are areas of the SM&CR that respondents believe are perceived as a deterrent to firms or individuals located in the UK?
