OFSI amends humanitarian activities GL to include Lebanon [14 October 2024]

OFSI has amended General Licence INT/2023/3749168 to include Lebanon.
The GL permits activities that provide humanitarian assistance and/or support basic human needs.
Previously it only applied to such activities that related to the conflict in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
The GL has also been amended to extend its application until 14 November 2025. Those using the GL are required to report to OFSI. Under the amended GL, reports should be sent no later than:
- 13 November 2024 in relation to activities undertaken prior to that date; and
- 14 June December 2025 in relation to activities after 13 November 2024.
