On 24 July 2024, after thorough checks and validation, THE JERSEY MONEYVAL REPORT will be publicly released at a Government of Jersey partnership event.

Moneyval update from Jonathan Groom MBA - Financial Crime Leader & Intelligence Executive   

Here are some snapshots from Jonathan Groom's MBA's week.

He reported,

  • It has been a week of active participation for the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) Jersey and the wider Jersey delegation in the 67th Council of Europe MONEYVAL Plenary.
  • The working group discussions and the ultimate plenary adoption of the Mutual Evaluation report for Jersey, a testament to our collective efforts, will be publicly released on 24 July at a Government of Jersey partnership event after final checks and validation.

Jersey - George Pearmain reports from MoneyVal on May 23rd 2024

George Pearmain [GP], Director of Financial Crime Strategy at the Government of Jersey, has reported.

  • Today marks a significant milestone for Jersey in our international AM/CTF/CPF assessment against the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards with the adoption of our 5th round Mutual Evaluation Report by the MONEYVAL plenary.
  • GP says we can only speak about the results in July when the report is released after a final quality and consistency check.
